Hawa Lansanah is the creative force behind HAWAmazing, a brand that blends fashion, storytelling, and cultural celebration.
Through HAWAmazing Entertainment, LLC, and HAWAmazing Design & Stitch, LLC, Hawa creates experiences and designs that connect people to the vibrant history, language, and traditions of Liberia while celebrating bold African style.
From handcrafted fashion pieces to curated entertainment experiences, HawAmazing is rooted in creativity, culture, and community — bringing people together through art, fashion, and storytelling.
Born in Belgium and proudly Liberian, Hawa’s journey has been shaped by resilience, culture, and community. Due to civil unrest, her family relocated from Kinshasa to the United States, a transition that helped shape her perspective on identity, heritage, and the power of storytelling.
Passionate about community and leadership, Hawa pursued her education at Savannah State University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration followed by an MBA. Her commitment to service continues today through her active involvement with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., where she contributes to initiatives that uplift and strengthen communities through fundraising and service.
Before launching HAWAmazing, Hawa was a centered educator who esteemed the honor of Local Teacher of the Year.
Now, she thrives in the corporate world, continuously shaping her remarkable journey.
Hawa (and HAWAmazing Design & Stitch, LLC) was named in the April 2022 Proclamation Celebrating Liberia’s Bicentennial issued by the Gwinnett County Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson.
She was also a recipient of a Bicentennial Edition: Golden Image Award by the Liberia’s Crusaders for Peace in 2022. She was awarded the International Young Achiever Award. She was able to take a trip to Liberia to receive her award.
In Fall 2023, HAWAmazing 2 Love premiered on Tubi!
The reality series followed Hawa’s authentic journey to find love on her own terms, offering viewers an intimate look into her family, culture, and life in America.
The show celebrated love without boundaries and inspired audiences to embrace their true selves and relationships.
HAWAmazing 2 Love was nominated and won Best Independent Reality Show Universal at the 2023 Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards!
In February 2024, Hawa was featured and interviewed by Eboni K. Williams on TheGrio for their Valentines special. This was their most widely viewed interview of the month. She was able to share the vision and cultural impact of the HAWAmazing 2 Love reality series.
April 2025 brought the drama, the laughs, and the feels — Season 2 of HAWAMAZING 2 Love dropped, and viewers were hooked, choosing their favorite suitors and diving deep into every twist.
Beyond entertainment, Hawa has proudly partnered with the Liberian Collective during the annual 1847 Fest by bringing the popular Fufu and Soup Experience to their Liberian Independence Day Festival. She has also hosted an exclusive brunch at Rock Steady in collaboration with the Liberian Collective, fostering community connection and cultural celebration.
