My First Published Article!

 When I started this journey I never even thought I'd have this opportunity during this pandemic. I'm so grateful for my friend, the owner of Dished Palate, Tequilla Johnson, for nominating me for this interview.

This article was actually published in September. The weather was so beautiful that particular day. I had spent most of that afternoon sitting on my balcony. The sun was shining and there was a slight breeze that was blowing my violets against the orchids. (Yes, I LOVE flowers but I don't have a favorite.) I had grabbed my phone to take a quick pic and saw the email notification. Ya'll! I was SO hype.  I couldn't wait to call my mama to have her read it.

There are random times that I sit and think about how far my business has come and I just can't believe it. I have dreams and goals and I am focused on achieving them one step at a time. Exercising patience is not something I enjoy but I am learning to trust the process.
